Overview

Lanco Resources Australia is planning to construct and operate a facility from Berth 14A within the inner harbour of Bunbury Port to export up to 15 million tonnes of coal per annum. In order to process this increased volume of coal, new transport facilities, a handling plant and berthing arrangements are required at Bunbury Port to mobilise the coal from the mine to the ship.

Why your views matter

A Public Environmental Review (PER) has been prepared by the company to examine the environmental effects associated with the proposed development, in accordance with the Western Australian Government procedures. The PER describes the proposal, examines the likely environmental effects and the proposed environmental management procedures.
