Cockatoo Island Multi-User Supply Base - Additional Information
Overview
Kimberley Technology Solutions Pty Ltd is proposing to develop a multi-user supply base comprised of an upgraded airfield, a wharf, a subsea workshop and supporting infrastructure. The proposal is located on Cockatoo Island approximately 7 km off the Western Australian coast within the Buccaneer Archipelago, approximately 130 km north of Derby.
A Revised Supporting Document (RSD) has been prepared by Kimberley Technology Solutions Pty Ltd in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review.
The Level of Assessment was set at Referral Information with Additional Information (4 weeks public review). However consistent with the Environmental Impact Assessment (Part IV Divisions 1 and 2) Procedures Manual 2021, where a public review period falls over the Christmas period, an additional 2 weeks are added. The additional information published for public review is required for:

The EPA's assessment of the potential impact on flora and vegetation, terrestrial fauna, terrestrial environmental quality, benthic communities and habitats, marine environmental quality, marine fauna, and social surroundings.
