Eramurra Solar Salt Project - Public Environmental Review
Overview
Leichhardt Salt Pty Ltd is proposing to develop a solar salt project in the Cape Preston East area, approximately 55 km southwest of Karratha in WA. The Proposal will utilise seawater and evaporation to produce a concentrated salt product for export.
An Environmental Review Document (ERD) has been prepared by Leichhardt Pty Ltd in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review. The ERD describes the proposal, examines the likely environmental effects and the proposed environmental management procedures associated with the proposed development.
The ERD is available for download from downloaded from www.epa.wa.gov.au or www.leic.com.au
