In addition to the expansion of the Gorgon Gas Development from the approved 15 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to 20 MTPA, the Public Environmental Review / Draft Environmental Impact Statement (PER/Draft EIS) covers the development of additional fields, utilising existing Project infrastructure to maintain gas supply as well as a third trunkline.

Why your views matter

A PER/Draft EIS has been prepared by Chevron Australia on behalf of the GJVs to describe the principal components of the Fourth Train Proposal, which are located on Barrow Island and in State and Commonwealth waters. The PER/Draft EIS includes an assessment of the environmental impacts reasonably expected to occur, and the mitigation and management measures that the GJVs propose to implement.
