Hemi Gold Project - Additional Information
Overview
De Grey Mining Limited is proposing to construct and operate the Hemi Gold Project (the Project) located approximately 85 km south of Port Hedland, in the Pilbara Region of WA.
A Referral Supporting Document (RSD) has been prepared by De Grey Mining Limited in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review.
The Level of Assessment was set at Referral Information with Additional Information (4 weeks public review). The additional information published for public review is required for the EPA's assessment of the potential impacts on:
- Flora and vegetation,
- Terrestrial fauna,
- Subterranean fauna,
- Inland waters,
- Air quality,
- Greenhouse gas emissions, and
- Social surroundings.
The RSD and additional information is available for download from https://www.epa.wa.gov.au/proposals/hemi-gold-project under 3. Assessment > Environmental Review.
