Mt Weld Rare Earths Project – Life of Mine Proposal - Additional Information
Overview
Mt Weld Mining Pty Ltd is proposing to expand its existing Mt Weld operations (mining, processing, and ancillary activities) to a life of mine (LOM) extent, located 35 kilometres (km) south-east of Laverton in the Northern Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
An Environmental Review Document (ERD) has been prepared by Mt Weld Mining Pty Ltd in accordance with Environmental Protection Authority procedures and is released for public review.
The ERD describes the proposal, examines the likely environmental effects and the proposed environmental management procedures associated with the proposed development.
