Perdaman Urea Project - Public Environmental Review

Overview

 Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers Pty Ltd (Perdaman) is proposing to establish a state of the art Urea Production Plant within the proposed Burrup Strategic Industrial Area, approximately 8 km from Dampier and 20 km north-west of Karratha on the Burrup Peninsula of Western Australia (WA). 

Cardno has prepared on behalf of Perdaman the Environmental Review Document in accordance with EPA procedures and is released for public review.  The Environmental Review Document describes the proposal, the likely environmental impacts and the proposed management measures.

The 12 week public review period commences on Monday 30 March 2020 and closes on Monday 22 June 2020. 

The EPA prefers submissions to be made electronically via the EPA’s Consultation Hub.  Submissions are to be made at https://consultation.epa.wa.gov.au 

Alternatively submissions can be:

  • posted to: Chairman, Environmental Protection Authority,  Locked Bag 10, Joondalup DC, WA 6919; or  
  • delivered to: Environmental Protection Authority, Prime House, 8 Davidson Terrace, Joondalup WA 6027.
