AutoHaul Project - Construction Activities for Rail Infrastructure within the Millstream-Chichester National Park

Overview

Robe River Mining Co Pty Ltd has proposed part of an upgrade of the existing rail network on tenements L47/126, L47/102 and L47/228 (also referred to as the 'Auto Haul Project'). 

This portion of the project will be located adjacent to the existing railway corridor within the MCNP and will traverse the Harding Dam Catchment area.

What happens next

Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied. The Chairman's decisions on level of assessment are released each Monday on the EPA's website.
