The EPA determined not to assess the proposal as development within the EPP Lakes can be managed in accordance with the Cockburn Central West Concept Plan as part of the planning process to meet the EPA's environmental objective for Inland Waters
Environmental Quality. The EPA provided public advice on the proposal.
Overview
LandCorp proposes to redevelop and rehabilitate a wetland in accordance with the CCW Wetland Concept Plan.
What happens next
Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
The Chairman's decisions on level of assessment are released each Monday on the EPA's website.
