Edna May Gold Project

Overview

Ramelius Resources Ltd propose to extend the life of the Edna May Gold Project operations by developing a new open pit immediately to the west of the existing operations. The project implementation would result in disturbance of up to 55.3 hectares of vegetation.

The Edna May Gold Project is located approximately 1 km north-west of the township of Westonia and 312 km east of Perth.

Why your views matter

At this initial stage of the EIA process, comment is simply sought on whether or not the EPA should assess a proposal and, if so, what level of assessment is considered appropriate.

What happens next

Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
