Overview

AGI Operations Pty Limited propose to construct and operate a gas processing plant and pipeline associated with the development of the West Erregulla gas field, located approximately 230 kilometres (km) north-east of Perth, and 50 km south-east of Dongara, Western Australia.

The processing plant will process gas produced from third party owned upstream wells. The processed gas will then be transported via a new interconnecting pipeline to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP).

The proposal includes a gas processing facility with a nominal production capacity of 87 terajoules per day, a 16.5 km interconnecting buried gas pipeline, a custody transfer metering facility at the DBNGP tie in point, a pig launcher station, evaporation pond, a power generation system, flare system, incinerator, fire water system, accommodation and office facilities, water treatment package, back up diesel generator and communications system.

The proposal will result in the clearing of up to 90 hectares (ha) of native vegetation within a 213 ha Development Envelope.

The life of the proposal is for 60 years.
