Overview

JAB Industries proposes to recommence small scale quarry mining on the southern side of Pivot Hill, located within Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve, Kimberley region. The quarry will supply crushed rock for local construction use. The proposed extent of ground disturbance is 6.85 hectares.
 

What happens next

Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
