South Erregulla Conventional Gas Development
Overview
Strike South Pty Ltd proposes to construct and operate the South Erregulla Conventional Gas Development, located approximately 280 km north of Perth and 45 km southeast of Dongara in the Shire of Three Springs and the Shire of Irwin.
The proposal comprises a natural gas processing facility, gas gathering network and pipeline to connect to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.
The development envelope is 283.46 ha with a disturbance footprint of 111.82 ha. No native vegetation clearing is associated with the proposal
Why your views matter
At this initial stage of the EIA process, comment is simply sought on whether or not the EPA should assess a proposal and, if so, what level of assessment is considered appropriate.
What happens next
Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
The EPA's decisions on level of assessment are released each Monday on the EPA's website.
