Tantabiddi Boat Ramp Sand Bypassing (Shire of Exmouth)
Overview
The Shire of Exmouth has referred an application to the EPA for a decision on whether or not to assess the proposal and, if so, the level of assessment. The application is to restore the navigable depths around the Tantabiddi Boat Ramp by removing approximately 3,500 cubic meters of sand from within the area.
What happens next
Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
The Chairman's decisions on level of assessment are released each Monday on the EPA's website.
