The EPA also notes that the potential impacts can be managed and mitigated by the proponent's mitigation measures, and dealt with by other statutory processes. Public advice was provided.

Doyles Lime Service Pty Ltd proposes limestone and sand excavation approximately 4.5 km north of the Preston Beach townsite, Shire of Waroona.

What Happens Next

Following the seven day public comment period and consideration of any comments received, the EPA will decide whether or not this proposal requires environmental impact assessment and, if so, what level of assessment will be applied.
