Twin Hills Wind Farm
Overview
The proposal is for the construction and operation of a renewable energy facility located 30km north-east of Eneabba, within the Shire of Three Springs.
The proposal involves the construction and operation of up to 93 wind turbines, a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) (up to 500MW) and associated infrastructure. The proposal will connect to the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS) via an existing transmission line.
The location of the proposal is land substantially cleared for agricultural purposes, with patches of remnant vegetation.
The proposal would include a total disturbance of up to 543.6 hectares including 17.14 hectares of native vegetation clearing.
