The White Well Gold Project

Overview

Lake Austin Mining Pty Ltd propose to expand and operate the existing White Well Gold Project (proposal), located approximately 30 kilometres east of Cue in the Murchison region of Western Australia. The proposal includes expansion of the existing open pit to a maximum depth of 90 metres below ground level, development and operation of gold processing facilities, a waste rock landform, tailings storage facility, mine dewatering and groundwater abstraction infrastructure, landfill facilities, internal access roads, workshops, offices, and associated mine infrastructure.

The proposal would be implemented within a 527.1 hectare development envelope and would result in a disturbance footprint of up to 148.3 hectares, comprising 24.8 hectares of existing disturbance and up to 123.5 hectares of native vegetation clearing.

The proposal has an estimated life of five years.
